What is forged aluminium?

Forged aluminum wheels are car wheels made of aluminum that has undergone a forging process.

This process distinguishes them from standard cast or flowform rims because instead of traditional metal casting, aluminum is formed at high temperatures under the influence of enormous pressure.

The result is a material with a much higher density and strength, which translates into better technical parameters and a longer service life.

The aluminum used in the forging process is usually high-quality aluminum alloys, such as 6061-T6 or 7075, which are known for their excellent mechanical properties.

These alloys are characterized by an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.

Raw aluminum is heated to a specific temperature and then formed under enormous pressure (forces reaching up to 10,000 tons).

This process causes the material structure to be denser, which eliminates potential imperfections present in traditional castings.

The main difference is the construction of the rim itself.

One-piece (monoblock) rims, as the name suggests, are made from one monoblock, a piece of aluminum.

Multi-piece rims (modular – 2PC & 3PC), on the other hand, have a separate rotor (middle part), an outer lip and a drum – in the case of a 3-piece rim. In the case of a 2-piece rim, we talk about the rim-drum and the rotor (the middle part).

The difference is the possibility of making a rim in a specific parameter (diameter/width, offset), which we cannot obtain using 1PC prefabricates.

Additionally, modular rims are visually more attractive and allow for obtaining more interesting stylistic combinations.

For each order, we prepare visualizations of the wheel and the given vehicle, so you will knot how the product will look in combination with your car.

This sounds great!

We are not only able to do so, but eager to build great projects together with our clients!

We specialize in individual projects, where the vehicle parameters are modified and the client requires the wheels to stand out on a global scale.

How long does it take to produce my wheels and transport them?

Since each set of our forged wheels are custom made just for you, it takes 6 to 8 weeks for production and shipment (to EU using air transport).

Shipment can take up to additional 4 weeks, if you will choose rail transport (it’s cheaper than air transport when you’re preparing car for the tuning season and can wait few more weeks for the wheels).

Yes, each of our shipment packages is insured. No worries, you won’t be left on ice without money or wheels when anything goes south.

In continental Europe we use DHL as our main transportation partner, but we can arrange any shipment of your choice – just let us know!
